The Missouri Tigers are currently enjoying a nice era in their athletics department. The two biggest sports -- football and men's basketball -- are going through successful periods. The football team had one of its best four-year stretches in school history and now the basketball team will be done with its best three-year stretch in school history once the 2010-2011 season is all said and done.
Here's a tidbit from Mizzou's release for the Texas game this weekend:
Mizzou Basketball has 71 victories over its last three seasons ... The MU record for wins in a three-year stretch is 75 from 1988-91 ... The club's next win will mark the fifth most wins during a three-year stretch in school history.
Missouri will get four more wins this season making it the most successful three-year period in school history.
And along with the football team, you could make an argument this is the best Mizzou athletics has ever been.
