Blaine Gabbert Injury Update: Jags Quarterback Back In Game Against Houston Texans

Gabbert went down after a quarterback run ended with a hit from Brian Cushing and Glover Quin both on the Texans defense as he slid. He was on the sidelines getting his ribs taped.

The Jacksonville Jaguars placed a lot of faith in former Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert this off-season trading up to get him in the NFL Draft. Then they released longtime starter David Garrard and quickly inserted Gabbert as the starter just two weeks into the NFL season. It's a major scare, then, when Gabbert recently left today's game against the Houston Texans with a rib injury. Luckily, he's now back in the game.
