Big 12 Basketball Standings: Missouri's Frank Haith Off To Nice Start

After the drama of Haith's hiring has died down, the Tigers are off to a nice 3-0 start under Haith and are tied atop the Big 12 Conference standings with Baylor and Oklahoma State.

Frank Haith's hire was a polarizing one for a lot of Missouri Tigers fans and sports writers, including us. After all, his record at Miami (Fl.) wasn't anything to write home about and his former school then went up in figurative flames after a Yahoo! Sports report by Charles Robinson uncovered a myriad of recruiting violations that spilled over from the football program into the basketball arena as well. For a while, it was a question if Haith would ever even coach a single game for the Tigers.

After the drama has died down, however, the Tigers are off to a nice 3-0 start under Haith and are tied atop the Big 12 Conference standings with Baylor and Oklahoma State (both at 3-0). Kansas State, Texas, Texas Tech and Oklahoma are also unbeaten, although the Sooners have only played one game thus far.

Missouri has its biggest test on Monday against the 3-0 Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
