The Missouri Tigers have outscored the Texas Tech Red Raiders 14-10 in the second half to narrow the gap and now trail 27-24 in the fourth quarter. Missouri quarterback James Franklin is leading the way for the Tigers with two second half touchdown passes. The first score was at the start of the third quarter and was on a 70-yard drive that lasted only nine plays which ended on a 5-yard touchdown pass to Michael Egnew. The other Franklin score came at the start of the fourth quarter and capped off a 63 yard drive on touchdown pass to Marcus Lucas. The latest touchdown closed the game to three points midway through the fourth quarter.
Franklin has been the offense for Missouri on the day and he also leads all players running the ball with 113 yards with a touchdown run he scored in the first half. Missouri still trails by three with less than eight minutes left in the game.
