Missouri Vs. Northwestern State Final Score: Tigers Cruise Past Demons 90-56

The No. 13 ranked Missouri Tigers had no issues defeating the Northwestern St. Demons on the hardwood Friday night. Missouri nearly doubled up Northwestern by winning 90-56. Missouri used a big first half and went up 57-31 and then cruised through the second half to victory.

Marcus Denmon led all players with 31 points on the night. Missouri also had two other players to score in double figures with Ricardo Ratliffe scoring 22 points on 10-of-11 from the field along with making two free throws and Michael Dixon came off the bench to score 19 points.

Missouri's defense held Northwestern state to 30 percent from the field and 27 percent from beyond the three-point line. The boards were dominated by Missouri by a 39 to 28 margin and 14 of those were offensive rebounds that allowed many second chance scoring opportunities.
