Texas Tech-Missouri Final Score: Marcus Denmon Leads Tigers To Victory, 92-84

It's fun to watch Missouri Tigers basketball when they shoot 58 percent from the field. Against the Texas Tech on Tuesday night, Mizzou took care of business topping the Red Raiders, 92-84. The highlights include Marcus Denmon hitting on 9-of-13 shots, Mizzou shooting 47 percent from beyond the arc and a strong second half from the Tigers.

Denmon was the story this evening as he came into the game with a slight injury. Last weekend his teammate, Laurence Bowers, accidentally elbowed him in the face which resulted in stitches under his eye. If you saw the game last Saturday, you know how Denmon looked with blood streaming down his face. He put that behind him and hit 9-of-13 shots for 20 points in 32 minutes of action.

Kim English also had a nice outing hitting 50 percent from the field and scoring 16 points. He also hit 7-of-11 free throws and grabbed seven rebounds. Phil Pressey was efficient as well scoring nine points on three three-pointers.

Texas Tech's John Roberson had a game-high 21 points hitting three three-pointers and all eight free throw attempts. He hit a three with just over a minute remaining to bring Texas Tech to within three, 87-84. Bowers responded making it a five point game and from there it was free throws for Missouri as English hit three of his final six attempts.

Missouri moves to 20-6 on the season and 6-5 in the Big 12. Up next for Mizzou is Iowa State on Saturday afternoon.
