The Missouri Tigers basketball program continues to see changes and this time it could potentially be a very good one. Mizzou head coach Frank Haith has reportedly hired Tim Fuller, a Louisville assistant coach. Jeff Goodman of FOXSports.com reports the two are very close.
What's interesting about Fuller is that he recruited Rodney Purvis and got him to verbally commit to Louisville. Purvis happens to be the No. 1 point guard in the country and No. 10 overall player (per ESPN's rankings).
So the natural question is whether Purvis will stick with Louisville. And, if he doesn't stick with Louisville, may he head elsewhere, perhaps Missouri?
I'm not sure what Purvis will do but this will presumably make him stop and think. For Mizzou, it doesn't hurt having a guy who already got the top point guard in the country to commit to his school (now he just has to do it again).
