Dave Matter is reporting that defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson, one of the most heralded prospects to ever come out of Missouri, has been cleared academically and will practice Thursday.
Coming out of high school in 2009, Richardson was ranked the No. 4 prospect in the country and was the top player in the state of Missouri. Richardson spent the last two years at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, Calif., where he missed the entire 2010 campaign due to a wrist injury.
↵This year, Richardson was once again part of the Missouri Tigers' incoming class, ranked as the No. 3 junior college prospect in the nation.
