The Big 12 has three top 10 teams in the latest coaches poll: Baylor at 3, Missouri at 7 and Kansas at 10.
Kansas State, the conference's only other team in the top 25, dropped out of the poll after dropping their last two games: a narrow home loss to Baylor and a shocking road upset at Oklahoma on Saturday.
Missouri has stabilized themselves at the back end of the top 10 after losing at Kansas State on Jan. 7, with two convincing wins over Iowa State and Texas.
Kansas, meanwhile, has ridden a seven-game win streak, including their first four games of conference play, to get back into the top 10 for the first time since losing at home to Davidson on Dec. 19.
Both the Tigers and the Jayhawks will get their shot at Baylor, one of the last three undefeated teams in D1 basketball, this week, with the Bears traveling to Lawrence on Monday and hosting the Missouri in Waco on Saturday in their toughest stretch of games this season.
