Missouri Vs. Texas Tech Final Score: Tigers Finish Off Red Raiders, Win 63-50

The Missouri Tigers were able to overcome a poor showing and a scrappy bunch of Texas Tech Red Raiders with a 63-50 victory in Mizzou Arena. There will inevitably be games like this for any elite team, where you don't play to your level of expectation. Give Frank Haith's bunch credit, as when their shots weren't falling the Tigers put their heads down and took it to the rim.

Kim English led the Tigers with 22 points, 19 of which coming in the first half. Marcus Denmon also contributed with 19 points of his own, as his poor shooting (4-15 from the field) was overcome by his perfect 10-10 performance from the free throw line.

The Red Raiders did a good job of getting decent shots and out-rebounding the Tigers, but 22 turnovers in the game proved to be too much to overcome. The No. 2 Tigers move their record to 19-2, and aretied with Baylor at 6-2 in the Big 12 standings while currently being a 1.5 games back of Kansas in conference play.
