Missouri vs. Alabama score update: Tigers fall behind big early

The top-ranked team in the country has jumped all over the Tigers in the first quarter of their SEC game.

The Alabama Crimson Tide have already built a 21-0 first quarter lead over the Missouri Tigers in their first meeting since the Tigers joined the SEC this season.

The top-ranked Crimson Tide scored on a 73-yard touchdown run by Eddie Lacy on the second play of the game and Lacy scored again from 3-yards out later in the quarter. T. J. Yeldon also added a 1-yard touchdown after Landon Collins blocked a punt to give the Crimson Tide excellent field position.

Lacy has 97 yards on only four carries and two touchdowns in the first half while quarterback AJ McCarron is 5 for 5 for 68 yards. Missouri's Corbin Berkstresser is struggling early with only 20 yards on 3 for 9 passing.

The Crimson Tide defense has held the Tigers to only 36 total yards of offense in the first quarter.

It's pouring down raining in Missouri and the Crimson Tide seem to have adjusted the best to the weather conditions.
