The Missouri Tigers have high expectations placed upon them this season as they look for a deep NCAA tournament run and instant success in the SEC. They are passing on those expectations to their players. Frank Haith, the team's head coach announced the indefinite suspensions of two senior players -- Michael Dixon and Dominique Bull -- for the violation of team rules.

Player response will dictate the players' return time, said Haith. Dixon is expected to be a major contributor for a team that might be the best in their new conference.

"We have high expectations for our students and particularly our seniors," Haith said.

Dixon's teammates expect him to come back quickly given his role and experience with the belief he will carry himself accordingly.

"Mike is a senior. I would assume that he knows how to deal with adversity," said Laurence Bowers. "He's been around the block for a while, and we're just looking forward to getting him back."

Dixon averaged 13.5 points and 3.3 assists last year for the Tigers.
