The Missouri Tigers will once again seek their first Southeastern Conference win Saturday night when they host the Vanderbilt Commodores at Memorial Stadium.
Mizzou enters the game at 3-2 overall but 0-2 in the SEC, with losses to Georgia and South Carolina. Saturday's contest is the first of three consecutive conference home games for the Tigers in October, with No. 1 Alabama scheduled to come to Columbia next week.
Mizzou has no room to look ahead to the Crimson Tide, however. Vanderbilt is 1-3 on the season, but all three Commodore losses came at the hands of teams currently undefeated and ranked in the Top 25: Georgia, South Carolina, and Northwestern.
Vandy has struggled offensively, but has had some success with halfback Zac Stacy, who has run for 341 yards and a touchdown and averaged almost seven yards per carry against Georgia last week.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 CT at Memorial Stadium. Television coverage is available on Fox Sports channels and ESPN3. Missouri enters the game as a 7.5-point favorite, with the total set at 44 points.
