The Missouri Tigers trail the Tennessee Volunteers, 28-21, after three quarters of play at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. The Tigers' offense came alive in the third quarter, gaining nearly 200 yards while picking up a couple of touchdowns.

Missouri running back Kendial Lawrence's 77-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage in the second half got the Tigers to within a score. Tennessee would answer shortly thereafter on Tyler Bray's 16-yard touchdown pass to Alton Howard. Lawrence scored again four minute later, punching it in from a yard out to once again make it a seven-point game.

Bray has completed 24 of 31 passes for 317 yards and two touchdowns for the Vols, who have 474 yards of total offense. Lawrence has carried the ball 15 times for 137 yards and two scores for Mizzou. Tigers quarterback James Franklin overcame a rough first half and is now 9 of 16 for 110 yards.

The Tigers have the ball at midfield as the fourth quarter begins.
