Iowa State vs. Kansas 2012: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

The Iowa State Cyclones seek bowl eligibility while the Kansas Jayhawks still seek their first Big 12 win.

Jerome Miron-US PRESSWIRE

The Iowa State Cyclones are seeking their sixth win and bowl eligibility this weekend against Kansas. The Jayhawks are just looking to end their season with more than the one win they currently have and their first conference win of the season. They'll meet Saturday in a Big 12 showdown at KU's Memorial Stadium.

It's a game that pits two of the bottom three teams in the Big 12 standings against each other. Kansas (1-9, 0-7) is 10th among the 10 teams and Iowa State (5-5, 2-5) is eighth. All five of the Cyclones' losses have come inside the conference, so facing the worst team in the Big 12 is something the Cyclones look to take advantage of.

It'll be the Jayhawks' best chance to avoid ending the conference schedule winless The season ends for them next weekend on the road at West Virginia.

The Iowa State Cyclones are an 8-point favorite. They meet the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT.
