The Missouri Tigers football team will honor the 2012 senior class at the annual team banquet on Sunday, Dec. 9, according to the team. The banquet, set to begin at 2 p.m. CT with registration beginning at 1 p.m., is open to fans who wish to attend. From the team's press release:
Tiger fans are invited to the banquet, which will pay tribute to the 18-member senior class which just finished their careers with the conclusion of the season.
Tickets for the banquet may be reserved by contacting the Tiger Scholarship Fund Office, at 573-882-0704, or by e-mailing tsfevents@missouri.edu. Tickets are $40 apiece, and include a three-course meal.
Notable among the senior players is running back Kendial Lawrence, who leads the team with 1,025 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns on 200 carries. For his career, Lawrence has 2,232 yards rushing and 21 total touchdowns in four years with the team. Wide receiver T.J. Moe will also be leaving the program after this season and has 399 yards and 40 receptions so far this season.
Missouri finished the season, the program's first in the SEC, with a 59-29 loss to Texas A&M on Nov. 24.
