The Missouri Tigers have endured a tough first season in the SEC with injuries mounting up worse than anyone could have predicted. In particular the offensive line has taken a beating with numerous guys out for the season or several weeks, and Dave Matter of the Columbia Daily-Tribune is reporting that right tackle Justin Britt could be the latest.
Gary Pinkel's team only has one win in the SEC in 2012, and much of that is due to injuries. Britt's injury would be a major setback on the right side for a team dealing with a fragile quarterback in James Franklin and a patchwork line. Every single starter has missed time on the line so far, so Missouri has yet to field the depth chart on the field that they started with on paper.
Britt's injury is inconclusive at this point, but it's clear his knee will keep him out for some time. Perhaps he could return late in the season, but the junior from Lebanon is likely finished.
