One of the top recruits in the 2014 recruit class, offensive tackle Andy Bauer has decommitted from Missouri and said he plans on visiting Alabama.

The high school sophomore from DeSmet in St. Louis, Missouri was one of a number of players making early commitments and had originally stated his intentions of attending Missouri, who are currently playing in the program's first season in the SEC. A consensus four-star prospect and one of the top 70 players in the country, Bauer is considered one of the top offensive tackle recruits in the nation.

Bauer, a long-time fan of the Crimson Tide, has stated his intention to visit Nick Saban and Alabama in November. The offensive tackle recruit could also visit LSU, where Bauer has ties to the program through 2013 pledge Ethan Pocic. Bauer has plenty of offers to choose from, including offers from Oklahoma, Kansas State, Virgina Tech and Oregon State, but the two SEC teams current sit at the top of his list.
