The end of his first semester in college hasn't gone well for Missouri freshman Ka'Ra Stewart, who was arrested for possession of marijuana earlier this week.
Officers reportedly requested to search his dorm room after "detecting a suspicious odor", and when Stewart refused to give them permission, they received a search warrant and found four small bags of marijuana in his room.
It takes a real genius to smoke inside a dorm, where the smell will linger in the hallways, and not in an outdoor area. Even more astounding, despite having police knocking on his door, it apparently never occurred to Stewart to dispose of the illegal drugs he had in his possession.
This is his second drug-related arrest in the last two months. Five members of the Tigers' 2012 recruiting class have also been arrested for drug possession charges this year. A sixth was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.
A three-star recruit from Illinois, Stewart redshirted this season and did not appear in a game. It remains to be seen whether he will still be a part of the team in the spring.
