Dorial Green-Beckham Is Biggest Big 12 Story On National Signing Day

Do the Oklahoma Sooners stand a chance of getting Dorial Green-Beckham? Is he destined for the SEC with one current power in Arkansas or in the newcomer with Missouri? Wherever he chooses, David Ubben says his possible arrival in the Big 12 makes it the biggest story of the day for the conference on National Signing Day.

Ubben writes, "Dorial Green-Beckham (Springfield, Mo./Hillcrest) is 6-foot-6, 220 pounds and loaded with talent. As signing day approaches, the same questions come up. Will Green-Beckham stay close to home and sign with Missouri? Will he choose Arkansas, the school many feel he'll help the most? Will Green-Beckham decide to throw a curveball and choose either Texas, Alabama or Oklahoma? Green-Beckham has seen all of his suitors go the extra mile for his services -- from multiple home visits to appearances at his school via helicopter -- and now, it's time to close the chapter with an announcement."

It's most likely he's heading away from the Big 12 given that Missouri and Arkansas are the two most favored. But surprises come every once in a while on National Signing Day and this would certainly qualify. DGB would be at home in Oklahoma's offense and be able to make a major impact on a title contender. It's hard to ignore the potential offered by Bob Stoops' team.
