Frank Haith Sequesters Team After Win Over Jayhawks

After one of the biggest wins in recent history for Missouri Basketball, coach Frank Haith had his team under lock down at the team's hotel following their 74-71 win over Kansas. Haith wanted his team to be full rested for Sunday's trip to Oklahoma for Monday's matchup but was also fully aware of just how crazy things in Columbia would be after the Tigers win.

"I can imagine what Columbia is going to be like tonight."

Missouri's decision to leave the Big 12 added extra spice for Saturday's game considering it is likely end of the 104-year Border War rivalry between the two schools. Missouri has expressed interest in keeping the matchups alive even after leaving the Big 12 but thus far Kansas is not interested. The result was Saturday's thrilling comeback win by the Tigers could be the final chapter in this rivalry in Columbia for some time. If that is the case then I am sure that Frank Haith and his Tigers are happy with the way that it ended. Even if they couldn't leave the team hotel to celebrate it.
