According to SB Nation's Jeremiah Oshan, 16 different NFL teams were present at Missouri's NFL Pro Day on Thursday to watch four former Tigers showcase their talents in hopes of boosting their draft stock. Of the teams at the pro day, Oshan said representatives from the St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons were all in attendance.
The four players who worked out at the pro day were tight end Michael Egnew, defensive tackle Dominique Hamilton, wide receiver Jerrell Jackson and defensive end/outside linebacker Jacquies Smith, but the player most teams were probably keeping a close eye on was the 6-foot-6, 245-pound tight end, Egnew, who is considered this draft class' fifth best tight ends by analysts. Egnew is likely a mid-round pick and caught 50 passes for 523 yards and three touchdowns in 2011 and 90 catches for 762 yards and five touchdowns the year before when Blaine Gabbert was still the team's quarterback.
