The 2012 NCAA Tournament bracket and field has been announced, and the Missouri Tigers will receive a No. 2 seed in the West region. The Tigers' first opponent will be the Norfolk State, and they will play on Friday in Omaha. If the Tigers win their first matchup, they will face the winner of No. 7 Florida and No. 10 Virginia on Sunday.

The Missouri Tigers earned the 2 seed after winning the 2012 Big 12 Tournament championship. Missouri hung around the top of the rankings and solidified their seed by topping Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals, Texas in the semifinals and Baylor in the title game.
