Missouri Tigers first-year head coach Frank Haith may still be stinging from the team's early exit from the NCAA Tournament when they fell to the Norfolk State Spartans in the round of 64. Still, Haith is reeling in the awards for such an unprecedented season with Missouri, this time winning the Henry Iba Award as Coach of the Year, voted by the USA Basketball Writers Association.

Haith was also named Coach of the Year of the Big 12 by the Associated Press, after being snubbed in the Big 12 coaches poll.
