Missouri Tigers first-year head coach Frank Haith has been named Coach of the Year by the Associated Press.
Haith, who in his first season over the program led the Tigers to a 27-4 regular season, 14-4 in Big 12 action for the second best record in the league.
Haith was passed up in the voting by Big 12 coaches, in which Bill Self of Kansas and Iowa State's Fred Hoiberg were named co-coaches of the year.
Missouri senior Kim English congratulated his coach via Twitter.
