Robert Steeples has not been happy as a redshirt senior cornerback for the Missouri Tigers. Unfortunately, he's not going to have much of a chance to make an impact as long as he's with the Tigers, and it's clear Steeples sees that as well. The news came out today that Steeples was looking at four new options with Memphis being among the programs he's visiting.
Jason Kirk writes, "Former Missouri Tigers cornerback Robert Steeples reportedly has a list of four potential destinations, with the Memphis Tigers among them. As a junior, Steeples posted 20 tackles, an interception and 1.5 tackles for loss. With E.J. Gaines, Xavier Smith and Randy Ponder among the Tigers defensive backs looking to capture more playing time this fall, Steeples may have better chances elsewhere."
Dave Matter of the Columbia Daily Tribune wrote on Twitter:
Been told transferring #Mizzou CB Robert Steeples is visiting four schools. One of those is Memphis. As of today, no final decision yet

It might be a few days before Steeples officially announces his new school of choice.
