Missouri Spring Practice: Tight End Eric Waters Tears MCL, Will Miss Rest Of Spring

Injuries have not been kind to the Missouri Tigers this spring as they have been without quarterback James Franklin with a shoulder injury and also without running back Henry Josey who tore his ACL and is questionable to begin the 2012 season healthy.

The latest casualty is tight end Eric Waters who tore his MCL and is going to be out for the rest of spring practice which includes missing Missouri's spring game on April 14. His injury occurred a few days ago but the severity unknown, but now it has been determined that he will need to have surgery this Tuesday. Waters is expected to be at full strength once fall camp begins in August.

Waters is slotted to replace departing tight end Michael Egnew and move into the starting lineup this upcoming season.
