There's no record book and merely a black hole of local newspaper web sites to check such a stat by, but we're pretty sure Missouri safety Tavon Bolden being kicked out of the same program for the same offense twice is at least a feat of note, if not a record. Given how weird college football always ends up being in the record books, we bet it's happened other places:
↵↵↵Bolden, a projected starter last season, was kicked off the team shortly before the 2011 opener for undisclosed academic reasons but was allowed to rejoin the Tigers in December for bowl practices after meeting several team-issued requirements. He was reinstated during spring practices, climbed to No. 2 on the depth chart at strong safety and earned a job with the first-team defense in the nickel package.

Now then.. three times, all for academic reasons? Come on Gary Pinkel, don't be the one man to stand in front of statistical greatness.
