Missouri Tigers Basketball Close To Landing New Assistant Coach

The assistant coaching vacancy with the Missouri Tigers is close to being filled with the interest in New Mexico Lobos assistant coach Ryan Miller and the two parties communicating with each other.

The position was just posted on the Missouri website on May 2 and the university lists an application deadline of Tuesday.

Miller is the older brother of Miami Heat forward Mike Miller and has spent the last six seasons with the Lobos working under Steve Alford. Before he went to New Mexico, Miller spent three seasons in an operations position on John Calipari's staff at Memphis.

Miller also played college ball at Northern State University and was an All-American in the 90s.
