The Missouri Tigers lost a couple of key players from last year's squad that are going to be interesting to watch at the next level, from Kim English with the Detroit Pistons to Marcus Denmon playing overseas after being drafted by the San Antonio Spurs. Now the mantle of leadership falls on Phil Pressey's shoulders to continue the success that the team enjoyed during Frank Haith's first season. Unfortunately, the point guard had a bit of an injury concern today.
Phil Pressey knocked knees in practice on Wed., but is okay. Mild sprain... out a couple of day.— Mizzou Basketball (@MizzouHoops) August 2, 2012
Pressey averaged 10.3 points and 6.4 assists last year for the Tigers. The 5-10 junior should make a major leap forward next year in the team's first year in the SEC.
