Missouri quarterback James Franklin's status for the Arizona State game remains questionable as the Tigers' signal-caller deals with a shoulder injury sustained during Missouri's loss to Georgia last week.
According to KOMU-TV's Ashley Zavala, Missouri coach Gary Pinkel is planning for the worst with Franklin's status and preparing for redshirt freshman Corbin Berkstresser to start the game while continuing to monitor Franklin.
Mizzou source tells me Berkstresser starting at QB is the plan "for now", that Franklin's injury isn't too serious.

Source says Mizzou will see how Franklin's shoulder feels tomorrow to determine his overall status.

Missouri has no incentive to reveal its plans with Franklin until game time, which will force Arizona State to spend time preparing for both quarterbacks.
