The Missouri Tigers have a 10-0 lead over the Arizona St. Sun Devils, and are doing so with starting quarterback James Franklin on the bench with a shoulder injury.
Starting in Franklin's place is freshman Corbin Berkstresser, who is making his first start, and after one quarter of play is just 3-for-8 for only six yards. However, Berkstresser has rushed for 18 yards including scoring the only touchdown of the game so far on a 6-yard run.
That touchdown was set up when the Missouri defense intercepted Arizona State quarterback Taylor Kelly near mid field. The other three offensive possessions for Arizona State all resulted in them punting the ball.
Missouri could be up 13-0 but Andrew Baggett missed on a 45-yard field goal attempt.
