Kendial Lawrence Becomes Major Part Of Mizzou Offense In 2012

Missouri's heavy 62-10 defeat of Southeastern Louisiana was the result that just about everyone expected, but Kendial Lawrence was not expected to have such a breakout game in his first coming back from injury from the Tigers. The tailback had a monster game, putting together 121 yards and two touchdowns on only 10 carries.

In his post-game quotes, Lawrence said that he thinks that he can get 1000 yards as a part of the Tigers this year, but his real goal is getting the team to new heights:

"I mean, rushing for 1,000 yards is probably every running back's goal but my goal is go out there and play as a team. I work my hardest on every play."
