Missouri Will Test Georgia's Pass Defense With Bulldogs Missing

Missouri's entrance in to the SEC isn't expected to be easy, but their first game in the conference against the Georgia Bulldogs appears to have gotten a little less challenging. ESPN is reporting that Georgia will be without four starters on defense Saturday night when they visit Columbia.

All-American free safety Bacarri Rambo and linebacker Alec Ogletree will miss the conference opener after both reportedly failed drug tests earlier this week. Rambo and Ogletree join cornerback Sanders Commings and outside linebacker Chase Vasser, both of whom were suspended for two games during the summer.

The Tigers' potent offense put up 62 points against Southern Louisiana last week, including 452 yards of total offense. The strong start signaled that Missouri has lost very little potency from last year's offense which ranked 12 in the nation. Georgia will now turn to sophomores Connor Norman, Damian Swann and Amarlo Herrera and freshman Devin Bowman to fill the void for their four suspended starters.

Saturday's game is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. CT at Faurot Field and can be seen on ESPN2.
