In the wake of Missouri's 41-20 loss to No. 6 Georgia, Tigers head coach Gary Pinkel credited the Bulldogs while citing his team's errors:
"First of all, Georgia is a very good football team, as we expected, and I am very impressed with them as I thought we would be. I give them a lot of credit. You can't make mistakes, the kind of mistakes we made in the game like that, and survive. You're not going to win games like that against people like that if you make some of the mistakes we made....
We gave up some big plays. We will learn from it and get ready for Arizona State."
Pinkel singled out Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones, calling him "a great player" no less than three times:
"He is a great player. Going in, you try to contain the guy but he was all over the field and he is just a great player."
"You can't change your whole offense. Obviously he is a great player. We saw him like that against everybody. You try to adjust calls you make, you try to get yourself into a position to get rid of the football or run the football or do different things. But give him credit. he is a great football player."
Mizzou returns to action next week against Arizona State.
