2013 NBA Championship Odds: Thunder open at 9/2

The Thunder are expected to win the Northwest Division.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have opened with 9/2 odds to win the 2013 NBA Championship, according to betting site Bovada. Those odds place the Thunder as the third-likeliest team to win the title and take home the trophy. This comes one season after the Thunder lost 4-1 to the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.

The four teams with best odds to win the title are, in order, the Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Thunder, and the Chicago Bulls.

The lines also give the Thunder a 9/5 shot at winning the Western Conference, which comes behind only the Lakers, whose odds to win the West are 13/10. The Spurs are the next highest team to win the conference, coming in behind the Thunder at 17/2.

A third line is also in play, which sets the over-under win total for each team. Oklahoma City's over-under win total line is set at 59.5 wins, which means experts expect the Thunder to finish somewhere around 59-23 this season.

Here are the expected win totals from the Northwest division:

Oklahoma City Thunder - 59.5
Denver Nuggets - 48.5
Utah Jazz - 42.5
Minnesota Timberwolves - 39.5
Portland Trailblazers - 35.5
