The 2012-13 season didn't get out to the quick start that the Thunder had in mind as the team dropped its opener on Thursday to the San Antonio Spurs, 86-84.
OKC will have a chance to get back on the right track on Friday, though, when hosting the Portland Trail Blazers. It'll be the second game of the season for Portland as well, after the Blazers managed to earn an upset win over the Lakers on Wednesday.
After the Trail Blazers, the Thunder will have a day off before hosting the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. The Hawks have yet to play their first game and will tip off their season on Friday against the Rockets at home before traveling to face the Thunder.
The other big matchup of the weekend will happen on Friday when the Lakers play host for the Clippers in a battle of two teams expected to finish near the top of the Western Conference standings along with the Thunder.
