Fresh off a promising overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, Scott Brooks' Oklahoma City Thunder will begin a brief two-game road trip on Friday night.
Winners of eight of their last nine games, the Thunder will kick this off with a trip to Boston on Friday for a date with Kevin Garnett and the Celtics. The Celtics have dropped two straight to fall to 6-6 on the year, and have already lost three times while playing on their home floor at TD Garden.
Following Friday's pivotal East vs. West showdown, the Thunder will hit the court with the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday evening at the Wells Fargo Center. Currently in third place in the Atlantic Division at 7-5, the 76ers handed Oklahoma City a frustrating loss last season on a night when Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined to shoot just 14-for-38 from the field.
