The Oklahoma City Thunder were looking for some momentum early in the 2012-13 NBA season after starting 1-2. They found it in their recent game against the Toronto Raptors as they rolled 108-88 over the Eastern Conference opponent. For Kevin Durant, it was also a chance to posterize yet another player. This time, Jonas Valanciunas played the role.
Durant only had 15 points on the night, but he clearly provided the most memorable points of the night with this dunk. Valanciunas is new to the NBA this season after sitting out a year in Europe after being taken by the Raptors early in the 2011 NBA Draft.
The Thunder even their record with the win and move to 2-2 in the Western Conference, still 2 games behind the perfect San Antonio Spurs at 4-0. The Thunder also trail the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Northwest Division.
As for the Raptors, they fall to 1-3 on the season.
