After one half of play, the Oklahoma City Thunder lead the Detroit Pistons 49-42. The first quarter saw both teams go back and forth with the Pistons actually holding a one point edge after the first quarter.
Then in the second quarter, the Thunder broke open the game with an 8-0 run en route to taking a 31-23 advantage in the quarter, and a seven point lead at the half. Kevin Durant is leading all scorers with 12 points, plus he has seven rebounds.
Eric Maynor had been a pleasant surprise for the Thunder as he has come off the bench to score 10 points, and he is a perfect 4-of-4 from the field including making both three-point attempts.
The Thunder defense has held the Piston's to just 38 percent shooting from the field, and 1-of-8 from behind the three-point line. The leading scorer for Detroit is Rodney Stuckey, with 10 points.
