The Oklahoma City Thunder extended the winning streak to eight with another big weekend, as the Thunder continue to build a big lead in the Northwest Division. OKC triumphed on Sunday with a 104-93 win over the Indiana Pacers, just two days after a big 114-108 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
Kevin Durant led the team in scoring in both games, putting up 36 on Friday night against the Lakers while Russell Westbrook once again led the way in assists with 14 over the weekend.
Keeping pace in the division were the Utah Jazz, who defeated the Toronto Raptors on Friday in dominant fashion, 131-99. It was a big team victory for the Jazz, with eight players recording more than double digits in points. Utah then walked into Los Angeles and handed the Lakers their fourth loss in five games with the 117-110 victory.
The Minnesota Timberwolves had just one game on the weekend, a 91-73 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.
