2012 NBA schedule: Thunder play only once over weekend

The Oklahoma City Thunder will play only a single game over the weekend, while the rest of the Northwest division will see more action.

USA TODAY Sports

With only one game against the Kings on their schedule, it won't be a busy weekend for the Oklahoma City Thunder. And since they have a 5.5-game lead on the next closest team in the Northwest, the Utah Jazz, they probably won't mind that most of the other teams in the division have the drop on them in terms of games played over the weekend.

Here is the full slate of games for teams from the Northwest Division this weekend:

Friday, Dec. 14

Kings at Thunder, 8 p.m. ET, CSS

Timberwolves at Hornets, 8 p.m. ET, FNo

Jazz at Suns, 9 p.m. ET, Root Sports

Grizzlies at Nuggets, 10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Saturday, Dec. 15

Mavericks at Timberwolves, 8 p.m. ET, FSW

Grizzlies at Jazz, 9 p.m. ET, SSN

Sunday, Dec. 16

Nuggets at Kings, 6 p.m. ET, Altitude2

Hornets at Trail Blazers, 9 p.m. ET, FSN
