Still just one game behind the red-hot Los Angeles Clippers in the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder will try to keep things rolling in the coming days with two key home games on the docket to begin the week.
In its final test of 2012, Oklahoma City will welcome a struggling Phoenix Suns team to Chesapeake Energy Arena on Monday night. While the two teams are scheduled to face off on four occasions this season, Monday's game will mark the first meeting of the 2012-13 campaign. Along with a five-game losing streak and 11-20 overall record, the Suns are just 2-13 when playing on the road this season.
Seeking to close out their two-game series without a blemish, Kevin Durant and the Thunder will then welcome the Brooklyn Nets to town on Wednesday evening. The Thunder overcame 33 points from Brooklyn point guard Deron Williams to pull off a 117-111 win back in early December, and the Nets have only mustered five wins in 13 chances since suffering the loss.
