The Oklahoma City Thunder assigned second-year point guard Reggie Jackson to the D-League Tulsa 66ers on Saturday, according to a report from Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports.
Jackson, 22, was a first round selection of the Thunder in the 2011 NBA Draft, but has yet to make an NBA start. In his rookie season he played in 45 games with the Thunder, playing a total of 501 minutes, while also playing some time in the D-League as well. In 2012, he has played in 10 games and a total of 56 minutes, recording a total of 18 points.
According to Inside Hoops, Jackson will be in uniform on Saturday night when the 66ers face the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at the SpiritBank Event Center in Bixby, Oklahoma. The Thunder will look to extend its win streak to eight consecutive victories on Sunday night with a home game against the Indiana Pacers.
