Russell Westbrook scored a game-high 33 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder improved to 17-4 with a 95-86 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

The Dallas Mavericks proved to not be an easy out, but the Oklahoma City Thunder made all of the plays necessary down the stretch to escape Dallas with a 95-86 win.

Russell Westbrook led all scorers with 33 points going 11-24 from the field and 9-10 from the free throw line. Westbrook's three-pointer with 35 seconds remaining extended the lead to 92-85 and gave the Thunder some much needed breathing room. Jason Terry led Dallas with 25 points off the bench. Shawn Marion and Brandan Wright each chipped in 12 points for the Mavericks.
