Kevin Durant's Post-Lockout Secret Training Regiment? Sleep

The Oklahoman has a piece profiling the somewhat futile attempts at keeping NBA players healthy and energized in this Lockout-shortened NBA season. While there's no magic pill to keep legs fresh and minds sharp when teams like the Western Conference leading Thunder are sandwiching road trips of eight and nine days at a time just a week apart.

So what's the training room secret? ZZZZZs:

Kevin Durant received a text message from Thunder head athletic trainer Joe Sharpe over the weekend. It had explicit instructions for how Durant should handle a rare two days off.

"‘Stay in bed for 10 hours,'" Durant said the text read.
