Oklahoma City shined on the offensive end and used its bigs to help shut down Kobe Bryant the Lakers to close out the first half of the NBA season with a 100-85 win, the Thunders' fifth straight victory.
Kevin Durant finished with 33 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals, while Bryant was held to 7-of-22 shooting but finished with 24 points (10 coming on the free throw line). OKC held the Lakers to just 19 points in the third quarter, strengthening a lead they wouldn't give up. The Thunder are now 27-7, tied for the best record in the NBA with the Miami Heat and winners of 12 straight home games.
