2012 NBA Western Conference Standings: Thunder Likely No. 2 Seed

After losing to the Lakers in double overtime on Sunday, the Thunder are more than likely going to be the No. 2 seed for the Western Conference playoffs behind the Spurs. The only way the Thunder can claim the top seed is if the Spurs lose their last three games and the Thunder win their final two games.

The Spurs have not lost three in a row all season so the odds of that happening are highly unlikely, so the Thunder are going to be the No. 2 seed and play either the Nuggets or Mavericks in the opening round of the playoffs.
