Bomani Jones: Metta World Peace Warrants 5-10 Game Suspension For James Harden Elbow

As commentary begins to roll in on the flagrant foul Metta World Peace laid on James Harden's head with his elbow, the call for a suspension grows increasingly louder. The latest is SB Nation's own Bomani Jones who argues that the evidence stacks against World Peace for a good five to ten games.

He writes, "It's pretty simple -- Metta World Peace hit James Harden with an indefensible cheap shot. If Andrew Bynum drew a five-game suspension for his foul in the lane against J.J. Barea last postseason, my guess is that World Peace will receive a ban between 5-10 games."

Harden came away with a concussion and is awaiting further test results today. The NBA is likely to rule now that the weekend is over and everyone is talking. We'll have further updates soon.
