James Harden Injury Update: Thunder Guard Listed As Day-To-Day

One day after being elbowed by Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace and suffering a concussion, Oklahoma City guard James Harden's status remains uncertain.

The Thunder released a statement Monday listing Harden as day-to-day, saying he would continue to undergo testing and be re-evaluated.

Part of the statement (from DailyThunder.com):

Harden participated in a series of limited activities per NBA guidelines, but has additional steps that must be taken under the league-mandated concussion policy before he make make his return to the court.

He will be re-evaluated (Tuesday) and is currently listed as day-to-day.

Harden is currently the front-runner for the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year Award, averaging 16.8 points 4.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. The Thunder are 1 1/2 games behind the San Antonio Spurs for the top spot in the Western Conference with two games to play.
